In-Process Quality Control
Capitol designed and built four torque converter test cells for a tier-one automotive manufacturer.
Automated Test Cell
This assembly line included an automated programming and test cell for ceramic substrate-based control modules.
Electronics Assembly
This ABS control module assembly and test system installs a connector, dispenses a heat-conductive epoxy, and inserts printed circuit boards into each control module housing.
Automated Work Cell
This system assembles and test control modules. A pick and place robot moved a housing containing a circuit board into an electrical continuity test station. Upon test completion, circuit boards passing the functional test continued to the next station; suspect boards were moved to a quarantine area.
Third Party Equipment Integration
The circuit board assembly system Capitol Technologies designed and built for a tier one automotive manufacturer included a wire bonding station that automated substrate level wire bonding.
